To ensure our customers feel secure and confident, we offer robust warranties on all our installations, including Trex Decking, Marvin Windows, and Owens Corning products.
Perrault's 10-Year Labor Warranty
At Perrault Construction, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship with a comprehensive 10-year labor warranty. This warranty ensures that any installation issues resulting from our work will be addressed promptly and professionally at no additional cost.
** Not all services, such as repairs, are covered under our 10 Year warranty. Please check your estimate to see what warranty is applied to your specific project
What's Covered:
- Labor for Repairs: Any defects or issues arising from our installation process such as: material blow offs, leaks due to flashings, valleys, nail holes, etc.
- Service Calls: Free service calls related to installation problems.
What's Not Covered:
- Product Defects: Issues due to manufacturing defects (covered by the product warranties).
- Damage from Weather: Leaking caused by condensation, frost build up, or ice back up are not covered by this warranty.
- Negligence or Misuse: Damage resulting from improper maintenance or misuse by the homeowner.
Perrault Construction: Superior Materials with Robust Warranties
If you encounter an issue covered under our labor warranty, please contact our customer service team. We will assess the problem and schedule a repair at the earliest convenience. Our goal is to make the claims process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Any damages resulting from faulty workmanship, interior or exterior, will be repair or replaced by Perrault Construction only. A neutral qualified inspector will decide upon any conflict between Perrault Construction and the property owner.
Manufacturer Warranties
In addition to our labor warranty, the products we install come with their own manufacturer warranties, providing an added layer of protection and peace of mind.
Owens Corning
Owens Corning provides a limited lifetime warranty on their roofing products. Key features include:
- Shingle Durability: Guarantees against manufacturing defects for as long as you own your home.
- Algae Resistance: Up to 10 years of coverage against algae growth.
Limitations: Does not cover damage from acts of nature, such as hail or winds above specified limits.
Trex Decking
Trex offers a 25-year limited residential warranty on their decking products, with some products getting even longer. If Perrault Construction builds your Trex Deck,Trex gives homeowners an additional 15 year warranty, making it a 40 year manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers:
- Fade and Stain Resistance: Protection against fading and staining.
- Structural Integrity: Assurance that the decking will not split, rot, or suffer structural damage from termites or fungal decay.
Limitations: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from improper installation or maintenance.
Marvin Windows
Marvin Windows are backed by a robust 20-year warranty on glass and a 10-year warranty on non-glass parts and components. Coverage includes:
- Glass: Protection against seal failures that cause visible obstruction.
- Non-Glass Parts: Coverage of factory-applied finishes and hardware.
Limitations: Excludes damage from misuse, alterations, or improper care.
Genflex
GenFlex warranties are offered in 10-, 15-, and 20-year terms, depending on membrane thickness and adherence to system-specific requirements. Coverage includes:
Membrane Material: Protection against leaks from manufacturing defects or weathering when installed per GenFlex specifications by an approved applicator.
System Components: GenFlex accessories and components are covered under the roof system warranty if they meet GenFlex installation and specification standards.
Limitations: Excludes damage from hail, excessive wind, ponding water, misuse, unauthorized changes, or unapproved structures (e.g., solar panels, decks) added later; also excludes non-GenFlex materials or improper installation.
